HEDGES, Justice.

A jury found appellant, Raymond Howard Marlow, guilty of murder. The trial court assessed punishment at 45-years confinement. On a previous appeal of this conviction, appellant's counsel filed an Anders1 brief, asserting that the appeal was wholly frivolous and without merit.
