Defendant Bryant Bowe pled guilty to assault of a federal postmaster with intent to commit robbery. Relying on U.S.S.G. § 4A1.2(c)(1), Bowe contended at his sentencing hearing that, in determining his "criminal history category," the court should have excluded his nine prior convictions for insufficient funds check.
