FLANIGAN, Judge.

A jury found defendant guilty of unlawful use of a weapon, § 571.030.1(1),1 and he was sentenced, as a persistent offender, to six years' imprisonment. Defendant appeals.

Defendant contends that the evidence is insufficient to support the verdict, and the trial court erred in ruling otherwise, because "the alleged dangerous weapon, the scratch awl, ... is a carpenter...
