OPINION

FRANCHINI, Justice.

Joe Wheatley appeals from a judgment granted in favor of Lincoln County and Julia Samora, the Lincoln County Assessor. We hold that the trial court erred in refusing to hold a trial de novo and that the court's unchallenged finding that Samora breached Wheatley's employment contract by firing him in bad faith must result in judgment in favor of Wheatley.
