This case came before the Supreme Court on the appeal of Chantha Leuthavone (defendant) from a judgment of conviction of first-degree murder, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, and illegal possession of a firearm. The primary issue on appeal is whether the defendant's statement to the Providence police should have been admitted into evidence.
