This is an appeal by the State of Arkansas. The State contends that the circuit judge erred in reducing the charge against appellee Timothy D. Knight to possession of a controlled substance—methamphetamine—after Knight had pled guilty to possession of that controlled substance with intent to deliver, and in then placing Knight on supervised probation. We agree with the State that probation constituted an illegal sentence, and we reverse...
