Michael Mustread once had a promising future. He had received an undergraduate degree with honors, and he had been admitted to law school. But Mustread decided that before attending law school, he would distribute marijuana on a vast scale. The jury convicted him of conspiracy to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and money laundering. The judge sentenced him to 360 months in prison.
