On October 10, 1991, defendant, Melvin Green, along with Darrell Claiborne and George McClow, was indicted by a grand jury for the first degree murder of Pamela Beth Block on August 19, 1991.1 Defendant pleaded not guilty, and, on July 21-23, 1992, he was tried by a twelve-member jury which found him guilty as charged.
