Appellant, Steven Wayne Denton, was charged by a single indictment with two felony offenses. Count One of the indictment charged appellant with the offense of theft of a motor vehicle, and Count Two of the indictment charged him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. See Tex.Penal Code Ann. §§ 31.03, 31.07 (Vernon 1989). The jury found appellant guilty under Count One of the lesser-included offense of attempted...
