Defendant Edward J. Jones was charged by grand jury indictment with the first degree murder of Keith Nesbitt. He was arraigned and pled not guilty. He later changed his plea to not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity. At the beginning of trial, the defendant changed his plea to not guilty.
