Albert Coerte Voorhees was hired by Guyan Machinery Company ("Guyan Machinery") as an outside salesman on 1 July 1981. On 9 December 1985, Mr. Voorhees was required to sign a non-competition agreement wherein Mr. Voorhees agreed that if he should leave Guyan Machinery, he would not compete with Guyan Machinery for a period of 24 months from the date of termination of his employment within a 250-mile radius...
