Plaintiff, an employee of McDermott Incorporated, was injured aboard a barge owned by McDermott. He was sitting on a small aluminum boat near the barge's helicopter pad when a helicopter owned by International Helicopter Transport, Inc. (IHT) landed on the pad and stirred up enough wind to upset the small boat injuring plaintiff. After a bench trial the court rendered judgment in favor of plaintiff for $734,005.00 and allocated 25% of the fault...
