BROOKSHIRE, Justice.

Appellant, James Douglas Blevins, Jr., was indicted for the offense of murder. He plead not guilty and, following a trial to a jury, he was found guilty of the lesser included offense of voluntary manslaughter. The jury assessed punishment at 20 years confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and the appellant was assessed a fine of $10,000.
