Grand Brittain, Inc., operator of an adult bookstore and an adult theater in Amarillo, Texas, sued the city alleging that local adult business ordinances violated the First and Fourteenth Amendments.* The district court held portions of the ordinances unconstitutional, severed them, and upheld the remainder.
