This lawsuit arises out of the explosion of ARCO's South Pass 60-B Platform located in the Gulf of Mexico. ARCO appeals from the trial court's judgment that William DeShazer, its former employee, did not disclose "company information" or "trade secrets" to SONAT, the defendant in a civil suit brought by ARCO in connection with the explosion.
