Richard and Maureen Morgan filed suit claiming violations of Louisiana's Redhibition and Unfair Trade Practices laws. They sought to rescind the sale of a Mazda 929-S to them by Pete Abington Alexandria, Inc. Mazda Motor of America, Inc. was the distributor of the vehicle in question; and, it was named as sole defendant in the Unfair Trade Practices action. The Morgans prayed for recovery of the full purchase price, finance charges, and attorney's fees...
