Presiding Justice CAMPBELL delivered the opinion of the court:

Following a jury trial in the circuit court of Cook County, defendant Jose Ruano and Jesus Prado were each found guilty of attempted murder and aggravated discharge of a weapon. Ruano and Prado were sentenced to 24 and 21 years respectively in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Defendant Ruano now appeals.
