DOUCET, Judge.

Defendants, Edilberto Reynaga and Petra Salinas, were charged by amended bill of information with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, a violation of La. R.S. 40:966. Both defendants appeared in court with counsel on April 30, 1992, waived formal arraignments, and entered pleas of not guilty to the charges. Trial in this matter began May 3, 1993, and on May 4, 1993, a Motion to Suppress was filed, heard, and denied by the trial court....
