In a one-count indictment, Arthur Cleon Draper, a convicted felon, was charged with knowingly and unlawfully possessing a Colt, AR-15, .223 caliber rifle and a Ruger, 9mm semi-automatic pistol, and certain ammunition therefor, which were in and affecting interstate commerce in that they had previously crossed state lines to reach Oklahoma, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1) (1988)....
