Bocre Leasing Corporation ("plaintiff" or "Bocre") brought a used helicopter from Edwards and Associates ("Edwards"), a broker of used aircraft. The helicopter, which was manufactured by Allison Gas Turbine Division of General Motors Corporation ("defendant" or "Allison"), failed while in flight.
