Elizabeth M. Borbas appeals the trial court's affirmance of the Virginia Employment Commission's determination that she was dismissed for misconduct, thereby making her ineligible for unemployment compensation. On appeal, she argues that the commission erred in holding (1) that her multiple violations of security procedures constituted misconduct; and (2) that she failed to prove mitigating circumstances to excuse the misconduct.
