SHORES, Justice.

The Civil Service Board of Appeals for the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department appeals from a judgment of the circuit court awarding Deputy Sheriff David Daniels full back pay and benefits based on the court's finding that he had been wrongfully discharged. We affirm in part; reverse in part; and remand.
