BALDOCK, Circuit Judge.

Petitioner Michael B. Selsor appeals the district court's denial of his petition for writ of habeas corpus, 28 U.S.C. § 2254. We have jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. § 1291.

In January 1976, in the state district court for Tulsa County, Oklahoma, Petitioner and Richard Dodson, a codefendant, were tried jointly on charges of murder in the first degree—i.e., a homicide perpetrated in the commission of an armed robbery...
