Plaintiff appeals the trial court's judgment affirming a decision by the Gaston County Board of Elections finding that defendant Harrill L. Jones (defendant) fulfilled the residency requirement to run in the municipal election for the city council seat representing Ward 5 in Gastonia, North Carolina.
