Appellant Michael Caruso, Jr., was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder. After the jury voted 11-1 to recommend life sentences on both counts, the trial judge sentenced Caruso to life imprisonment on one count and to death on the other. Caruso appeals his convictions and the death sentence. This Court has jurisdiction pursuant to article V, section 3(b)(1) of the Florida Constitution.
