Jose Maria Sanchez, who is also known as "Chema," was convicted of conspiring with the intent to distribute cocaine, distribution of cocaine, and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841 and 846 and 18 U.S.C. § 2.
