Plaintiff, Richard Barnes, brings this appeal from a trial court judgment dismissing his claim for damages. The basis of the suit is an automobile accident which occurred on November 14, 1987 in which the vehicle driven by Mr. Barnes collided with a vehicle driven by defendant, Corporal Irwin Lavergne.
