STATEMENT OF THE CASE

The Plaintiff-Appellee, Lorena Sebren (Sebren) filed a complaint for damages suffered in an automobile accident while she was a passenger in a car driven by Defendant-Appellant, Thelma M. Akers (Akers), her half sister.1 Since negligence is the sole alleged basis for liability, Akers filed a motion for summary judgment contending that "sister" in the Indiana Guest Act
