Defendant, David Taylor, appeals from an order denying a motion to vacate his sentence. We reverse and remand to the trial court with directions.

In August 1991, defendant was convicted of one count of theft. Approximately three months later, the trial court sentenced him to probation with intensive supervision for a period of four years. On December 16, 1991, defendant filed a notice of appeal with this court. We affirmed defendant...
