Defendant was convicted by a jury of second degree burglary, § 569.170, RSMo 1986, and stealing property with a value of at least $150, § 570.030, RSMo 1986, for which he was sentenced as a prior and persistent offender to consecutive prison terms of 15 years on each conviction.
