Appellant James Barber challenges his conviction and sentence for first-degree criminal sexual conduct under Minn.Stat. § 609.342, subd. 1(a) (1990). Barber argues the trial court erred by excluding evidence of a prior inconsistent statement made by the victim and also contends the admission of Spreigl evidence, based on a court-appointed psychologist's report, violated his Fifth and Sixth Amendment rights.
