A jury convicted Maurice E. Lindsey of receiving stolen property in violation of § 570.080, RSMo 1986. The court sentenced him to a five-year term of imprisonment. Lindsey appeals, claiming that the state did not present sufficient evidence to support his conviction and that the trial court committed prejudicial error in denying his motion for new trial notwithstanding the verdict because there was jury separation without authorization.
