This cause arises out of a collision of two vehicles which resulted in the paralysis of plaintiff, Robert Oakes. The jury returned a joint and several verdict of $7,000,000 against defendant, General Motors, which manufactured plaintiff's vehicle, and co-defendant, Leonard Potter, who drove the vehicle which struck plaintiff.
