This is an appeal from a trial court judgment awarding damages for breach of contract.

BACKGROUND

As a result of an automobile accident, defendant Dwight Allemand was rendered a quadriplegic, requiring round-the-clock nursing care. Dwight received a large settlement from a lawsuit arising out of the automobile accident, and he used some of the proceeds from the settlement to build a home compatible with his physical limitations...
