Appellant Jerry Jourdan1 (Jourdan) was killed in an automobile accident while driving to work. Jourdan sought death benefits arising from the accident from respondent State Industrial Insurance System (SIIS). Because Jourdan was not receiving wages for the commute at the time of the accident, we conclude that he was not injured during the course of employment and that the appeals officer and district court...
