On March 20, 1987, the Eaton County Circuit Court in Michigan entered a judgment of divorce for Denise Thelen Cushion ("Cushion") and James Thelen ("Thelen"). In January of 1992, Cushion filed a lawsuit against Thelen in the Eaton County Circuit Court seeking a monetary judgment for sums arising out of the divorce judgment...
