The appellant, Purtis C. Wright, was convicted of third degree robbery, a violation of § 13A-8-43. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

The state's evidence tended to show that at approximately 9:15 p.m. on December 4, 1991, an attendant at a Shell gasoline service station and food market in Talladega was robbed.
