This action was brought by Hilton Hughes against Bert Artripe to recover money invested by Hughes in Artripe's landscaping business, Bluebonnet Services. Milton Hess and his firm, Landscape Nursery, Inc., were also sued by the plaintiff because of certain equipment that had been conveyed to them by Artripe.
