Appellant, David Bradley Bills ("Bills"), pleaded guilty to the offense of engaging in organized criminal activity, Tex.Penal Code Ann. § 71.02 (Vernon Supp.1993), and the trial court assessed his punishment at fifteen years confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
