OPINION

WHITE, P.J.

Security Pacific Business Credit, Inc., now known as BankAmerica Business Credit, Inc., but which for the sake of continuity will be referred to herein as "Security," appeals an order imposing a $1,500 discovery sanction. The court imposed the sanction after Security opposed a motion to compel discovery without substantial justification for doing so. (Code Civ. Proc., § 2023, subd. (a)(8).)
