After a bench trial, defendant, William E. Carini, was convicted of three counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault (Ill.Rev. Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 12-14(a)(1) (now 720 ILCS 5/12-14(a)(1) (West 1992))). The trial court sentenced defendant to 20 years' imprisonment on count I and imposed six-year terms of imprisonment on counts II and III to run concurrently with one another, but to run consecutively to count I...
