On the morning of Friday, July 12, 1991, neighbors noticed that every light was on in the home occupied by Jeffrey Thomas and Shari Exline. About 6:30 a.m., Bruce Orr went to the home and found the body of Exline lying face down in the living room. Upon examination he determined she was dead. He proceeded to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office in Adel to notify the authorities. When officers arrived at the Thomas home they observed the lights on...
