The defendant, Johnny Bennett (alias "Cat Daddy"), was charged by bill of information with molestation of a juvenile, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:81.2 A. He pled not guilty and, after trial by jury, was found guilty as charged. Thereafter, the State filed a habitual offender bill of information; after a hearing, the defendant was adjudicated a third felony habitual offender.
