Defendant, Lester Warwick, pleaded guilty to one charge of reckless homicide (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 9-3(a) (now 720 ILCS 5/9-3 (West 1992))). Although reckless homicide is normally a Class 3 felony (see Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 9-3(d)(2) (now 720 ILCS 5/9-3(d)(2) (West 1992))), the fact that defendant committed the offense while he was under the influence of alcohol enhanced the offense to a Class...
