Defendant Henry Levesque was charged by information with one count of robbery (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 39, par. 18-1(a)) for taking, by the use of force, money and a portable radio from Vernon Thigpen in the early morning of July 25, 1990. The following evidence was adduced at defendant's bench trial. Thigpen testified that at approximately 3:30 or 3:45 a.m. on July 25, 1990, he was in a motel room with his girl...
