Pending before the court is the Government's Motion in Limine Re: Trial Evidence (filed June 26, 1992).1 This motion raises the issue of whether a defendant in a criminal trial can impeach the testimony of a Government witness by introducing evidence of prior statements made by the attorney for that witness.
