DAUGHTREY, Justice.

We granted review of this case in order to determine whether a police officer, investigating two urgent, anonymous reports of a man threatening people with a shotgun, acted reasonably under the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution and Article 1, Section 7, of the Tennessee Constitution by briefly stopping the defendant to investigate the reports.
