This is an appeal by officials of the State of Arizona (hereinafter, "the State") from the grant of habeas corpus to Mitchell Thomas Blazak pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. The district court granted relief on Blazak's claim that his due process rights were violated by the state trial court's failure to determine his competency to stand trial.
