This appeal arises out of an action brought by the plaintiff against the defendant New Britain General Hospital following the hospital's decision to terminate the plaintiff's medical staff privileges. The plaintiff sought damages resulting from an alleged breach of contract and negligent infliction of emotional distress as well as injunctive relief in the form of reinstatement of his staff privileges.
