Timothy Lebron Slater was indicted for trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime as a result of a search which took place after a traffic stop. The trial court granted Slater's motion to suppress evidence, finding that the arresting officer had an "ulterior motive to interdict drug trafficking."
